Totally Locally (Christmas one!)

 We are just getting over the Fantastic day that was the Christmas light switch on in Slaithwaite town! It was so good in fact that we didn't close our doors until after 8pm!

Still we haven't had too long to rest before we have to get back in and decorate our shop for the Totally Locally Christmas fair happening this Sunday 9th!

So get your hat and scarf on and come and join us for our Winter Wonderland and pick up some gorgeous vintage and handmade gifts for your loved ones (or yourself!) this Christmas!

The Grand Opening!

We have finally opened our doors to the public and it feels fantastic!
The support we have received so far is overwhelming and we are so proud of the final results!

The place was really full, and the wine went down very well :)

We thought for a short time that we wouldn't make it, but all the hard work has paid off and now we can finally enjoy bringing some extra joy to our lovely town!

The final touches!

As we had finally decided on a date for us to open- the rush was on to get everything complete! And because we hadn't even started painting yet, or even looked at sanding the floor, the race was on!

So we got our overalls on (for the millionth time!) And gave everything a good paint...

And everything that was once gloomy and unloved- soon started to lighten up!

We managed to find a place in Bradford that houses second hand Dulux paint, and we were lucky enough to some brilliant paint that cost us hardly anything at all! 

Even the metal paint we got free for the posts happened to all be different colours of blue and looked fantastic once we began painting them all. 

We are completely thrilled with the new décor and even the stock room managed to get a tidy up- ready for all our stock to go in!

It has been a tough couple of months but the end is here!
